This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with rotary hammers. The special o-ring is commonly used to provide cushioning and spacing at the connection point between part assemblies. This o-ring is used with several different models of rotary hammers and the part application may vary depending on the model. The o-ring is sold as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for part location.
