This is a genuine part which is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with DeWALT and Black and Decker rotary hammers. The cap provides cushioning for the chuck. If the component is worn, damaged or missing, this will provide an identical replacement for the original cap that was installed on a new unit.
