It is an identical replacement for a missing or faulty arbor bushing which helps to secure a saw blade. Disassemble the arbor gear assembly. From blade side, and motor side. Clean all the old grease. I used sea foam and a rag. Important because the metal shavings from the old gear. Repack with grease. I used red hi temp. Be mindful of the needle bearings where the shaft meets the motor. Reassemble. Start cutting. Good luck.
