Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.

My Ultra 395 lost all pressure when I tried spraying a gritty coating of waterproofing paint.

Remove the inlet hose from pump. Unscrew the plastic cover from the pump throat area to access pump pin. Use a screwdriver to carefully remove round spring holding pin in place, and drive pin out.
Use a screwdriver and hammer to loosen the locking ring holding pump to machine body. Now unscrew the pump from the housing. Simply rever se the procedure to install the new one.
NOTE: Before you install the new pump, run the motor and observe the lowest point of the cam- mark with tape on the housing as a reference. You do not want to screw in new pump too far or the cam will bottom out on the top of the pump housing. screw the new pump in to about 1/4\" below that lowest point, that way you get the longest stroke with the pump. Made mine work better than new in my opinion...

Also- make sure the hose from the pump to the prime/spray valve, along with the valve openings in the filter housing, are clean, and not clogged or it will not build pressure. Takes just a few minutes but will save frustration.
