This replacement hook & loop rubber backing pad is designed for Makita sanders. It is an authentic OEM sourced item that the sandpaper is secured to. This is a hook and loop fastener closure system. The rough side is called hook and the soft side is called loop. The hooks engage into the loop and provide the closure mechanism. This part is made from durable rubber and plastic materials and it is sold individually. Please note the hardware to secure it is sold separately.

Remove one hex head bolt from the worn pad , then install the new pad with the bolt.
