Needed a new power cord, brake was not working.

Removed wires from power cord connecting to switch one at a time. Make sure you note the terminals that you removed these wires from.
First the white(neutral wire) and the black(hot wire).
Remove the two screws from the power cord hold down clamp.
Replaced ... Read more power cord and Strain reliever and reinstall the power cord hold down clamp.
Connect both white and black wires to the new switch.
Remove the two brake wires from the old switch noting their position.
Connect the two brake wires to the new switch.
Replace the handle cover screws.
