Plug was changed and person changing it shorted the hot side to ground. Cause and effect: Armature shorted. Ordered new Armature, and changed it out. step by step. Remove handle assembly, fan, windings, bench test all. Remove armature, growl test, bad. Install new armature. Install holder, fan ,handle, switch etc. install new plug to repl

Check amperage draw, 10amps. Running. Unit is 15 amp Hammer.
Clean unit and return to service.
