Cover plate became loose, bits keep falling out

I removed the existing cover plate, including the screws, washers, tool retainer and dust guard.
After cleaning the tool with an air compressor, i reinstalled the new cover plate, including the screws washers, tool retainer, and the dustgaurd.
After the installation, the tool worked like new.
