To change blade on circular saw, you must hold blade in place by depressing a plunger into the motor. Part of the plunger assembly, the plastic cap, was cracked.

2. Pulled the plunger, spring and other equipment from the old plastic cap,
3. Installed the plunger, spring and other equipment into the new plastic cap.
4. Hand-tightened this new assembly into place.
The plastic nut on the blade locking device broke.
