This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with Makita belt sanders. The plastic separator is located near the fan in the dust collector bracket. The separator is used to move air and dust out through the dust chute. This separator is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

I have 12 sanders that are used on glass so parts wear out faster than normal. ereplacement parts supply\'s us with a full compliment of parts. Most of the parts are very simple to replace, simply undo a few screws pull old part, install new parts, replace screws.
