This is an authentic part made by Makita specifically for the sanders listed below. This dust bag nozzle holds the dust bag, and connects into the dust nozzle (which itself fits onto the tube coming from the sander's main body/skirt panel). No special tools are required for this installation. Sold individually. Dust bag and dust nozzle sold separately.
I took off the chewed up items and replaced them with the new items. The bag slipped on the plastic holder without any issues. The holder slid on to the coupler and the couple to the sander, no issues.
