This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for Makita rotary hammers. The is one of three rings used to seal the cylinder, this special ring is used in two locations on the HR3851 rotary hammer. The ring is sold individually, please see model diagram for part locations.

Removed the bottom portion of the hammer off, dissemble the hammer shaft and replaced all the O rings, checked the bearings,replaced the impact bolt, cleaned all parts, lubed parts and reassembled
