Missing safety shield.

Wrench (Adjustable)
With the wrench you remove the blade.
Remove the retaining clip.
Fit the shield onto the shaft housing.
Replace the retaining clip.
Install the return spring.
Install the shield arm with the screw.
Replace the blade.

The 5007 Makita saw had been thrown away with a broken handle, lever missing, and cord cut.

1. Removed the switch assembly and the old cord.
2. Crimped new ring terminals on the new cord.
3. Installed new cord with cord guard
4. Installed new handle cover using M3 x .7 x 25mm screws
5. Installed new lever and screw
6. Put a new blade on it and it cuts great.

Saw fell off the back of a pickup & broke the blade guard and some parts were damaged.

Removed lock bolt for shoe slide. Lowered shoe out of the way. Removed large snap ring. Guard return spring was missing. Removed broken guard & replaced with new one. Forgot to mention that the guard stop was removed to allow it to drop for clearance. Installed new spring & rubber stop. Finished by replacing remaining parts

The Safety guard handle was broken off and cord was in bad shape.

Removed a total of 5 screws off of the handle and open and exposed power cord housing, removed two set screws and replaced old cord with new.
Put installed new handle to blade guard with set screw.
Installed the new locking screw on face plate use to set angles on sew.
