Pretty easy job, just make sure to remove the 3 recessed allen screws on the bottom first.

Dropped my saw and cracked the magnesium base plate.

Base plate came off easy with just a few tools. Remember to reset the 90 degree stop with a good square, and use lock-tite on the set screws!

Removed the old plate, carefully noting where all parts came from and where to put back, then put all parts back together. Saw works as well as before the drop. The site was easy to use, and delivery was quick. Best advice is to pay attention to all parts, putting back together will be much easier.
