This replacement dust bag is an authentic OEM sourced item that is specially designed for Makita orbit sanders. The purpose of this bag is to collect the dust that is picked up by the sander. This durable fabric bag is connected to the plastic dust nozzle which is sold separately.
Very easy repair, just back out the screws holding on the sanding pad and replace using the same screws. The dust bag is a bad design in my opinion. After repeatedly taking it on and of the plastic breaks. I am on number three. No biggy as long as I can get them from ereplacementparts.
