This is genuine Makita replacement part designed for a belt sander. This part is made out of fabric with a plastic collar. This bag is sold individually. The purpose of the dust bag is to pick up dust and debris when using the sander. It is connected to the spout on the sander housing. No tools are needed to replace the bag, simply connect it to the dust nozzle.

Unscrewed the cover, took the broken nozzle out, replaced with the new nozzle. Screwed the cover back on.

The dust nozzle was cracked and leaking dust. And the Dust bag did not have a clip.

I took the screws off the cover.
Remover the old dust nozzle.
Inserted the new dust nozzle.
Screwed the cover plate back on.
Then I attached the dust bag and the sander was good to go.

Removed the screws from the housing. Removed the broken nozzle. Replaced the nozzle. Reinstalled housing.
