The paddle linkage attaches to the lock button spring and the lock-on button. It is available individually and is made of plastic. This genuine item is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Milwaukee angle grinders. You may need a torx bit when replacing this part. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken.

Paddle linkage broke when grinder got dropped

1. Pull screws from cover remove both sides.
2. Remove switch paddle to access paddle linkage.
3. Install new linkage and replace the paddle.
4. Install covers back on the grinder and always cycle your work to make sure anything you do works properly before you put it back in service.

1)Made sure unit was unplugged.
2)Removed 4 torx screws holding grinder case together.
3)Removed casing
4)Removed broken parts
5)Installed new parts
6)Put unit back together
