1. Removed case surrounding motor
2. Removed brush contacts from motor housing
3. Melted solder old brush contacts and removed from from power source
4. Soldered new brush contacts
5. Returned new brush contacts to motor housing in correct orientation
6. Reassembled case and handle assembly

Remove the handle, locate the brushes, Then unsolder the old brush leads and remove the old brushes. Solder the new brush leads, then place the brushes in the holders. Then put the housing back together.

Remove screws that hold body housing together, locate brushes, they snap in real easy. You can use a solider gun or small wire nuts on the wires. I used small wire nuts. The compression spring is located by the trigger with a small bearing. This also comes out very easy. It takes longer to remove the screws in the housing than it does for the repair. Simple and easy job.

Worn out brush, warped brush tube

Took a picture of assembly before I started!!
Removed brushes
Pulled out brush tube
Unsoldered brush wires
Soldered new brush wires
Replaced tube and spring
Put brushes in tubes
Reassembled
Works awesome!!!
