The purpose of this cord is to supply power from a standard U.S. outlet to an electric power tool. It is an authentic manufacturer sourced replacement part that is designed for use with Milwaukee power tools. Over time the cord may crack exposing wires, if this happens it should be replaced immediately. This durable rubber insulated power supply cord is sold individually, please note the cord protector is sold separately.

Disassembled the handle to remove the old cord. I had a little difficulty sliding the motor housing cover back on while trying to separate the motor bushings. I had to remove the motor housing end cap cover to tilt bushings to the side in order to slide cover back on.

Original cord cracked due to age.

Removed the left side of the handle part of the case.
Removed the switch from the housing.
Removed the cord ends from the switch.
Crimped eyelets onto the ends of the new cord.
Installed the new cord onto the switch.
Reinstalled the switch into the housing and routed the cord through the housing and out the c ord holder.
Reinstalled the left side of the handle and tested the saw.
Works Great.

Power cord was cracking and the cord protection had broken off

removed all the screws from handle front half
removed the strain relief inside the handle
unplugged the power cord from switch and hook up mew cord
then reattached all the screws on the handle and ws ready to do more cutting

1. Disassembled the handle housing by taking out the screws.
2 Removed the old cord, being sure to note the cord routing.
3 Attached crimp-on terminals to the bare wires of the new cord.
4. Reattached the cord protector
5. Routed the new cord,
6. Installed the handle on the saw with the screws.
7. Visu ally checked everything over.
8.. Powered up the saw to complete the repair.
