This is an original Milwaukee replacement part manufactured for use with sawzalls, and mag stand drill presses. The brush holder secures the brushes so they can make contact with the commutator while the armature is rotating. Both brushes can fit into the brush holder, and the brush hold is sold individually.

1. Removed brush housing plugs that hold brushes in place.
2. Removed damaged brushes.
3. Unscrewed handle housing.
4. Separated two halves of handle.
5. Unscrewed 2 screws on brush assembly housing.
6. Unplugged 4 wire connections attached to motor and to additional 2 wires with leads to brush holder assembl y.
7. Removed brush housing.
8. Installed new housing.
9. Attached 2 wires to the brush holder assembly same way removed..
10. Screwed the 2 screws back into housing.
11. Replugged wires to moter.
12. Assembled 2 haves of handle.
13. Rescrewed handle screws.
14. Installed new brushes.
15. Reinstalled 2 caps for brushes.
