This is a genuine OEM part. The brush assembly is compatible with a variety of power tools. This item is secured between the cap and brush tube assembly on each side of the armature. The purpose of the brush assembly is to conduct current in an electric motor that powers the tool. This assembly includes one carbon brush with a lead wire attached. Please note it is advised to replace both brushes at the same time to ensure even wear. This part is sold individually. A screwdriver and pliers are needed to make the proper removal and replacement.
