Product Description
?This genuine OEM sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Milwaukee abrasive cut-off machines. The armature is the central component of an electric motor. It is composed of a steel shaft, copper windings, and a series of commutator bars (through which the carbon brushes transfer electricity). If the tool is overloaded, the copper windings can become extremely hot. If this occurs repeatedly, the insulation surrounding the windings can melt and the armature will fail. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the proper repair procedure.
