Clean dust first with air compressor. Next removed sanding plate then removed the 3 screws on the top head of sander. Removed brushes then housing and removed armature. Installed bearings on new armature and reversed disassembled procedure. Run like new. Best sander I ever.

MISTAKE- spent a lot of time trying to remove bearings from top and bottom- no success
Had to order new bearings
Put new bearings on armature
Returned all parts back in sander
Worked!
