My nephew ran over my battery operated circular saw during a heavy rainstorm. The guard was broken and the blade was bent.

2. I straightened the blade as well as I could and tried it. I didn\'t want to mess with it if the saw didn\'t work. It worked fine.

Removed 4 screws holding the guard in place,
Removed the guard return spring
Replaced the lower guard, replaced 4 screws, and attached the return spring
Put the blade back on
