Product Description
?This is a shim for an assortment of table saw models, that is designed to align the saw blade with the guide holder. This shim measures approximately 3.8-inches long and is made of black metal. This shim comes as an individual OEM part, and table saws normally have two shims, so consider that before placing an order. The frequency at which you use your saw, the type of wood you are cutting most often and the overall sharpness of your table saw blade are all factors that can cause the shims to wear down faster. • If you notice your saw blade is wobbling or making inaccurate or rough cuts, inspect the saw to make sure the shim(s) are still in good condition, and replace them if they are worn or damaged. Replacing these shims will require a few tools, such as screwdriver/drill, and wrench. Turn your saw off, disconnect it from the power, and flip it upside down so you can access the guide holder. Using a screwdriver/drill, remove the screws securing the shims to the guide holder, and remove the guide holder itself. Remove the old shims and replace them with the new ones, and secure the entire assembly together with the screws, shims and guide holder. Flip your saw right-side-up and test the guide for full functionality.
