This is the feeder assembly for various staple gun models. The feeder assembly is responsible for constantly pushing the staples forward to be used within the nose piece. This feeder assembly is comprised of a plastic housing with a recoil spring and connecting cable. This assembly is sold as an individual OEM part and does not come with any other hardware or accessories. If the cable or recoil spring within the feeder assembly are broken or worn out, it needs to be replaced in order for your stapler to work properly. Replacing this feeder assembly only requires a wrench, Allen-key, flathead screwdriver, and punch.

Remove the staple magazine from the gun body with the proper size Allen wrench. Use a roll pin punch to partially remove the pin holding the cable end eyelet enough to release the eyelet on the end of the cable. Place new cable eye into slot and replace the pin with the punch from the opposite side. Place the feeder assembly in the slide

The rail for the staples is made out of plastic of course...well it got brittle and fractured as well as the cable that feeder assembly slides the staples forward\'

Read moreion to do the complete replacement...I did complete it after receiving my new parts, even decided to clean and repaint the Senco Stapler..now it works like new and looks great...glad I learned something and didnt just toss the tool away and buy a new one for 3x the price.
