I followed the instructions provided. I did have to cut the tube to the correct length with a pipe cutter. This is the second time the exhaust tube has had problems. The plastic seals go bad. I feel the copper exhaust tube that was original was a better part, but the weak link is the plastic seals. I also had to replace the steel strap th at holds the compressor in place, it broke, probably causing the seal problem this time.

1. Release all the air from the tank and unplug the compressor.
2. Removed the plastic cover from the top of the compressor.
3. Located the exhaust tube and loosened the nuts on both ends to remove the old exhaust tube.
4. Cut the new exhaust tube down to size and with a hacksaw and deburred the ends with stationary whe el grinder since I didn\'t have a pipe cutting tool to properly cut the tube down to size.
5. Place the nuts and new ferrules onto the exhaust tube and installed it back onto the compressor.
6. Reinstalled the plastic cover back onto the top of the compressor.
7. Removed the old drain valve and installed the new.

Installed new exhaust tube as the old tube had a hairline crack and air was escaping through that exit, not allowing the compressor to fully pressure up. It was an easy installation and the compressor is now working correctly.

Removed of line and installed new tube with 2 compression rings. Had ordered extra compression ring due to confusing break down on picture of parts used to select parts.
Simply removed old line, slid compression rings on new tube, cut tube to proper lenghth, and tightened the copper nuts onto compression rings. Surprised by the fac t that the tube was too long. Works perfect.

Removed broken exhaust tube. Went online with compressor serial number and found exploded view, got part number and ordered from ereplacement parts. It came with instructions for reinstalling and IÆm glad because there were several steps I didnÆt know of, and discovered 2 missing bolts in process of reinstalling, 1 was Motor mount bolt wh ich caused exhaust to break in first place. IÆve already been back and ordered some fishing reel parts and fixed a reel I couldnÆt use for years! Great company, great service. Thanks a million! Charlie B. F.
