This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Echo backpack blowers. It is the starter assembly that allows a user to pull-start the unit, over time components may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. It is a complete assembly which includes the plastic housing, the starter pulley, the starter spring, and the pull rope with the grip, please note the hardware to secure it is sold separately.
