Mower was very loud when mowing

Emptied all gas. Turned mower upside down. Removed blade. Removed the bolts
holding the muffler. Found baffle plate was burned-rusted away. Checked for carbon deposit, cleaned out.Put new baffle and cover on install bolts Sharpened and replace blade.Mower much quieter.

removed mower blade with impact driver then removed 3 bolts holding muffler and baffle replaced them with the new ones. replaced mower blade.

Muffler baffle went bad in a \'94 Lawn-Boy Model 10301

Simple. Remove mower blade. Then remove 3 (I believe) muffler cover bolts that hold on horseshoe shaped muffler cover. Remove old baffle (horseshoe shaped also), install new baffle, (there are no bolts holding in the horseshoe shaped baffle making this very simple). Put muffler cover back on (3 bolts). Put blade back on. Done.....
