This is an authentic MTD replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with walk-behind lawnmowers. The special ten-toothed spur gear attaches to the rear axle and links with the rear wheel's inner gear to drive the mower. This gear is available individually, please note two spur gears are required.
