The capacitor goes inside the housing next to the cellular rubber cord. It is an authentic OEM sourced item which is specially produced for use with Karcher pressure washers. This item is priced individually and is made out of plastic and metal. When replacing this part a screwdriver may be needed. It will need to be replaced if it becomes broken.

Pressure washer would make a humming noise when trying to start washer

1. Removed 8 T15 Torx screws to remove pressure washer cover
2. Removed 2 more additional T15 screws from pump holder bracket
3. Removed pump from case to locate capacitor location
4. Removed cover over capacitor
5. Removed 2 wires from the slide over connectors on the capicitor
6. Reinstalled in the reve rse order
7. Function tested to verify proper repair

Replaced bad motor starter Capacitor, after checking it on a capacitor checker. It read only 4 mfd. it is suppose to be 60 mfd. or higher.

Removed the outer cover and it actually popped right out. No need to take apart the motor housing, or whatever it\'s called. Very Simple job. Like replacing a fuse.

1. Removed the external case of the pressure washer
2. Removed the damaged capacitor and replaced it
3. Replaced the external case
4. Started it and used it

The Karcher k330 stopped working and would just hum. Checked online and decided it was the capacitor. Followed instructions online to open the unit, find and replace the capacitor.

Capacitor died, bought a new one, installed it and the pressure washer worked again.

1. Opened up the case.
2. Found where the capacitor was located.
3. Removed the capacitor, got the model number.
4. Ordered the capacitor, waiting a few days for delivery.
5. Installed capacitor.
6. Put the insides back together.
7. Put the case back on.
8. Plugged in the pressure washer, turned i t on and it worked.

Removed the plastic housing from the pressure washer and disassembled the capacitor holder. Unplugged the old capacitor and plugged in the new capacitor, and put housing back together. The pressure washer is operating like new again.
