This part is sourced from the original manufacturer and is intended to be used with snowthrowers from MTD, Yard Machines, Troy-Bilt, Yard-Man, and Cub Cadet. The shave plate attaches to the bottom rear of the snowthrower\\\'s auger housing. This item wears down over time because it is used to scrape against the ground to gather snow into the auger as the machine moves forward. The shave plate is sold individually.
