This is an OEM sourced replacement part used with a variety of lawn and garden equipment. A spark plug delivers electric current from an ignition system to an internal combustion engine. After time spark plugs will become dirty or fouled. It is a good idea to replace the spark plug once this happens. This item is sold individually. You should gap your spark plug according to the owners manual of the outdoor product you have. You would need a spark plug wrench or a socket wrench to install the spark plug.

What size spark plug need.

Hello John, thank you for your question. The correct Spark Plug is 35395. Our research indicates it has specifications : Thread diameter: 14mm, Thread reach: 9.5mm, Seat type: flat, Hex size: 21mm. We hope this helps. It should be gapped it a 0.030. We hope this information will help you.

Remove the blade bolt and blade support and blade
Removed the old belt and installed the new one
Installed the new blade with the blade support and blade bolt
Removed the air cleaner cover and cleaned it
Removed the old air filter and installed it and the cover
Removed the old spark plug and gapped the new one at 0.030 and installed it

Replace the spark plug, gapped the new one at 0.030
Remove the air filter cover, remove the old filter and install the new one, replace the cover
Remove the blade bolt and the blade support, then the blade
Install the new blade in reverse order

I removed the 2 bolts in front of the cover to be able to access the top bolts to the head gasket, then removed the heat shield from the muffler to access another blocked bolt, then the spark plug and remaining bolts. Cleaned the head with a steel brush. Cleaned it all up and put it all back together w the new gasket. Started up after a few pulls and ran stronger than ever.

Replaced spark plug

Changed oil
Replaced oil fill tube and dipstick and used new gaskets

It was not a difficult job. Any DIY person could figure it out fairly easily. All the parts are easy to get to and not too complicated to remove or rep lace.

I removed the spark plug and keep it connected and pulled on the rope to see if I could see any spark. No spark and it was a new spark plug. Replaced magneto. Started on second pull. Took around 15 minutes to remove and replace all the screws.

Went ahead and replaced Carburetor and air filter.

2. removed the old carburetor
3.replaced and installed the new carburetor

Pulled the carburetor off and rebuilt it. The idle jet was completely clogged. You\'ll need a very small diameter wire to clean it. I used a strand of copper wire. Reassembled and runs like new. Check for videos on how to do it. Very simple if you have ever turned a wrench.
