I did use some fishing line to clean out the small passages. Once it was clean and dry, I started to assemble it. I replaced the needle, cup and bowl o-ring. Then installed the float bowl with the o-ring and bolt. Installed the insulator with the gaskets on both sides of it. I then installed the new union and all of the parts attached to it. I removed the muffler, then the gasket and cleaned the area before I installed the new muffler gasket.
Removed the rocker arm cover and replaced the gasket beneath it. Installed a new fuel filter in the tank. Then before I installed the air cleaner, I exchanged the old packing (gasket) for the new one.
