This replacement fuel pump is a genuine OEM supplied item that is commonly utilzed on Kohler engines installed on lawn and garden equipment. It is used to pump the fuel from the tank into the carburetor. Over time it may begin to fail eventually requiring replacement, it is recommended to periodically check for hairline cracks and other damage to the external surfaces of the pump. Please note one durable plastic body fuel pump is included per order.

1. Removed the 3 gas lines attached to pump, noticing which one was input, out put the other was marked with a P (pulse),
2, Removed the 2 screws / bolts holing the pump in place,
3, Bolted in the new pump
4. Reattached hoses
5. Started turning the engine over, NOTICED GAS in FILTER now
6, Finally hit and fired up and now runs fine, like it always has for the past 10 + years

The mower had been sitting for a couple of years, so I drained the gas and decided to replace the fuel filter and used the carburetor kit. Was very easy to fix.

Remove the screws holding the pump.
Replace the the hose clamps and hoses one at a time.
Install the new pump

1. Remove existing fuel lines from pump.
2. Remove (2) 10mm screws holding pump.
3. Remove failed pump.
4. Install in reverse order.

1. Clean the fuel lines.
2. Replaced the fuel filter.
3. Cleaned the fuel tank.
4. By process of elimination we replaced the fuel pump. It took less than 10 minutes.
