This carburetor is an OEM replacement part designed for use with Kohler engines. The purpose of a carburetor is to supply a combustible mixture of fuel and air to the engine. It also helps to control engines speed. This assembly includes a metal body carburetor and two (2) composite material gaskets. To complete this repair you would need a wrench. • Remove cover and base • Disconnect fuel lines • Remove old carburetor and install the new one • Re-assemble and test the engine

Remove the Starter Rope and Coil
Removed the Fuel Tank
Removed lines
Remove Carb and linkage
Replaced in reverse order

1. Removed air filter
2. Removed gas hose
3. Removed springs and rods
4. Removed carburetor
5. Transferred bracket to new carburetor
6. Removed old gaskets
7. Installed new gaskets
8. Installed new carburetor,rods,springs and gas hose
9. Installed air filter
10. Filled with gas and i t started right up.

Removed air cleaner shroud and unbolted carburetor. Detached throttle and choke control wires. Detached fuel and rebreather lines. Removed carb, replaced with new one, Reattached throttle and choke control wires, attached new fuel line, bolted carb in place, placed new air cleaner element and shroud back in place. job done!
