This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Kohler small engines. The foam precleaner is used with the air filter and assists with preventing dirt and debris from entering the engine. Foam filters can be cleaned with soap and water but may wear out eventually and will need to be replaced. This precleaner is sold as an individual replacement part, please note the air filter is sold separately.
Take the wires off of the carburetor solenoid and put a wrench between the solenoid and the carburetor Bowl and remove the solenoid. Then put the new one in its place. The blades and shear pins were all used and abused
1. Followed ththe directions that Husqvarna supplied on the mower.
2. Pulled up the blade deck for easy accessibility.
3. Removed the blades and sheared pins.
4. Replaced with new blades and shear pins.
5. Reassembled the deck to the mower body.
6. Started the mower and tested it out and it worked fantastic!

Be careful not to damage the small plastic insert from the throttle linkage on the carburetor and the other end of the throttle arm as these parts do not come with the kit.
To remove a carburetor and put a new one on is a easy job, will need a mm socket set. The engine on the lawn tractor started up first time with no problems.
