This item is a genuine OEM sourced part that has been manufactured to be used with small engines from Honda. The gasket is used to seal the connection between the carburetor and the insulator plate. It is recommended to replace gaskets when servicing the carburetor to make sure the part connections are sealed and seated correctly when the parts are reassembled. This item is available as an individual replacement part.
1. Remove air intake and filter
2 remove carburetor and old gasket.
3. Clean making surfaces
4. Install new gasket.
5. Install carburetor.
6. Install air intake and filter.
Replace gasket & carburetor. I have no special instruction just had to take off air filter then took off carburetor and replace the new one.
