This part is a genuine OEM item that has been sourced to be used with Honda small engines. This spacer is used as a link between the carburetor and the air cleaner elbow. The carburetor spacer is priced as an individual part, please note associative parts are available separately.
Removed and replaced carburetor. This particular generator needs to be run at least once a month and run on top tiered fuel only or you will be buying many carburetors.
Unbolt old carb, remove linkage and fuel line , then reverse procedure.
Total time 15 minutes!

I had purchased a new carburetor but discovered the gaskets were too bad to reuse.
1. Had to remove the pump from the frame. Carburetor could not be removed from motor without hitting the frame.
2. Carburetor was removed and taken apart. throttle was sticking in the open position due to gas deposit build up on the shaft.

4. Motor started up fine and idle like it should.
The new blend of gas is really hard on small engine because of deposit from the gasoline. In my case the large pump is only used once or twice a year and just set in the shop on a shelf. It \'s eight year old and looks new. Honda makes a very good motor, not a design problem, it a !!GAS!! problem.
