This starter rope is an OEM replacement part manufactured by Briggs and Stratton. It is compatible with over 150 models of engines. This rope is connected to the starter pulley. When the rope is pulled, the pulley is rotated and the engine is started. This rope should be replaced if it is worn or cut. It is sold individually.
