Backup parts
I ordered these plugs for backups.. I had gone to a local supply store to get new plugs and the plug part number was changed to another number (same brand) Champion)) and these plugs are crap.. The first plug burned out after one cutting and currently running the second plug ( plugs were made in Mexico).. These plugs are not made exactly.. I found ereplacement parts again, due to losing it from my other computer and ordered these spark plugs.. Yes.. Lawn Mower runs but eventually has knocking sounds and shuts off
Replaced old gas, checked for spark, check the flywheel for timing issue, added stater fluid to air filter and the mower started for a couple of seconds and then stopped. Cleaned the old carburetor but that did not help, found my mower on sears parts and ordered them but they were not able to deliver the parts so I checked with eReplacem

1 Spark plug remove and replace with new one. Gapped the new one at 0.020, Too simple to describe any further
2 Air filter cleaned and new pre-filter installed. Too simple to describe any further
3 Tilt mower up on its side and carefully remove cutting blade. Used impact wrench and socket.

Tripped head off, inspected all parts, cleaned carburetor bowl while I had it off the engine.
I checked to make sure head and cylinder surface wasn\'t warped, de-carboned piston top and head. Re-assembled.

Removed air cleaner and drain fuel/blocked hose with plug. Remove carb and linkage and replace carb. Reinstall linkage. Hook up fuel hose, as do to pump primer and start. DONE =ƒæì
