How to replace starter rope and have it rewind and swing back

Unbolted the cover and removed the guard.
This completely unbolted motor from the tiller.
I drilled out the rivets and bolted on the new part.
Remounted motor and protective guard.

Tiller starter rope broke.

The Machine was actually a RotoTiller, not a Blower.
Removed the starter cover from the engine using a 10mm nut driver. Drilled out the rivets from the housing that held the starter to the housing using a 3/8\" drill bit, then installed the new starter using the provided nuts and bolts (can\'t remember the size). Then reinstalled th e cover to the engine. Really easy.

drilled out the rivets and removed old pull start
used pop rivets to fasten new pull start to shroud
replaced shroud

Removed housing with the recoil starter. Drilled rivets out. Installed new recoil starter assembly. Put cover back on engine. Done.
