Just What I Needed and it Fit Perfectly
I had to buy this handle cover because the new switch has a bigger button than the old switch. I appreciate the fact that ereplacement warned me that it would be needed, rather than find out my repair required a second order. The drill had a sticker at the bottom of the grip showing which direction the reversing switch was which. This replacement part even came with the half of the sticker that would be lost when the old handle cover came off. Nice detail.

Remove the old style handle cover. Make a wiring diagram. Remove the cord wires from the switch and remove the other wires from the switch and remove it. Install the wires on the new switch, then place the dust cover on the switch. Place the switch in its place , then screw on the switch handle half.
Removed side cover.
Removed cord, switch and dust cover, Installed new parts. 20+ year old drill is as good as new.
