Removed all the screws on one side of the housing. Remove switch controller removed stabilizing brackets for cord stalled the new cord put the parts back in reverse order completed the repair in less than 15 minutes.
Variable speed knob module was replaced and power cord end was defective so was replaced

Removed Casing sections and disconnected wiring connections. At the same time power cord was replaced.
