This is an authentic Makita replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with demolition hammers. The field consists of a metal ring that is lined with magnets and when electricity is added it creates a magnetic field that causes the armature to rotate within the field. The field is sold individually, please note a screwdriver, needle nose pliers, and a pick or small screwdriver may be needed to replace this part.
