The relief valve attaches to the discharge T. This item is available as an individual replacement part. It is a genuine OEM sourced part which is specially designed for use with Ridgid compressors. A wrench set may be needed during the replacement of this part. The valve is made out of metal and will need to be replaced if it breaks.

Pressure switch not working and relief valve worn leaking

Remove the parts that are not included with the new pressure switch,and set aside. Open cover on switch and make a wiring diagram of where the wire are connected. Remove wires, then remove old pressure switch. Install new pressure switch and connect the wires per the wiring diagram. Install the other parts on the new pressure switch. Rem ove the old relief valve and replace it with the new one.

Remove old valve. Screw in new one and snug with box end wrench.

Replaced the allen head screws with bolts the rest was easy pipe dope and tightening plumbing!
