Easy repair fixed the issue
The compressor would only pressure up to 40 psi and there was a little rattling coming from the head. The original valve was split in two. The part arrived quickly and I was able to get the valve in and everything back together. It works just like new.

1. Removed motor from chassis.
2. Removed shroud from motor.
3. Removed head from motor.
4. Found broken outlet exhaust valve plate.
5. While waiting for parts delivery, I thoroughly cleaned all parts and vacuumed piston chamber. Never found broken piece(s) of valve plate, so I hope they ended up in compressor t

6. Re-assembled all components.
7. Compressor now cuts in at 100 psi, and cuts out at 140 psi, as per manufacturerÆs specs.
