?This pressure switch is for air compressors. The pressure switch turns the air compressor pump on and off to regulate tank air pressure. Unplug the air compressor and bleed the air pressure from the tank before installing this part.

Hello Manuel, thank you for your question. It could be because of pin hole leaks in the piping or fittings. Or, it could either be because of a faulty pressure release valve(N072023) or a defective Power Switch AB-9063158. We hope this information will help you.

Broken pressure switch when the unit fell over.

2. Use bolt cutters to cut the hose clamp.
3. Cut the hose above the 90 degree fitting.
4 Use a pipe wrench to loosen the pressure switch.
5. Put the new switch on and tighten with the pipe wrench.
6. Took apart the old pressure switch. Air fittings and ... Read more wiring harness.
7 Put air hose back on put on new hose clamp and rewired the harness.
8. Put the cover on
9. Put the handle back on and job complete.

Remove screw on the cover plate
Disconnect blade terminals from switch noting location
Cut clamp from 1/2\" rubber hose
Remove Rubber Hose
Disconnect all torx screws from protective shroud around compressor
Unscrew pipe from old switch to compressor tank.
Transfer components from ... Read more old switch to new switch as needed, using teflon tape and pipe dope on threads.
Install new switch to tank.
Connect rubber hose and install hose clamp (not included with pressure switch)
Reinstall electrical wires with factory spade terminals to switch
Reinstall plastic protective shroud around compressor head.
Install pressure switch cover.
Plug in, pressurize and check for leaks.
This switch was factory set for 200 PSI shut off
