Removed wheels . Laid it on its side . Removed face plate and valve assembly makes getting to plastic cover screws much easier, the removed covers . When I looked at the head two head bolts were broken ! Maybe over tightened in assembly from factory ? It\'s never been serviced since I purchased it new ? So I proceeded to remove head and valve plate . Sleeve and piston using an impact to remove main rod bolt is easier small pry bar to pull rod off counter balance wheel , once off I. Set parts aside and cleaned entire unit also the bearings were not making any noise yet so I removed seals on the bearings with a sharp razor knife point , and used carb cleaner to remove old dried lithium grease from bearings . Then repacked bearings with high temp grease or wheel bearing grease . Good heat resistant grease (red ) or blue some are synthetic base they are good too. I had to. Drill and tap two broken bolts in the jug . Not sure what that main body assembly proper name . I had drill bits high speed steel small 3/32 first then used easy out to remove one the other was froze in the aluminum housing . Had to drill 7/32 and the re-tap 1/4 -20 thread . Found two hardened steel bolts to replace the broken ones .I used lock washers and I used anti-seize on all bolts going back in the aluminum to prevent further corrosion , breaking reassembly went well 220 psi now runs great . Remember to always drain water from your tank Periodically . Guy M.
