This is an original DeWalt replacement part, not an aftermarket imitation. The gasket is manufactured for use with air compressors. This special gasket is used to seal the connection between the valve plate and the cylinder. It is recommended to replace gaskets when servicing the air compressor to ensure proper seals when the parts are reassembled. This gasket is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.
